For Fear Of Silence

This entanglement,
Is more than I can bear
I don’t want to feel this,
And yet,
I want to feel something.  
Where exists,
A place to hide,
From who I am?
Where exists,
A place to hide,
From what’s within?
I need to escape,
If only for a moment,
I need to feel the ocean breeze,
I need to know who I am.
It’s an endless road,
Going nowhere,
I don’t know where to go,
Or if it is even possible,
To return home.
I don’t understand,
but maybe I would,
if only I could think,
If only I could breath.
But I keep moving anyways,
For fear of silence.
